This course will show you the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies
The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings

Assessment is through demonstration of practical skills, participation in role plays, oral and written questioning.
Participants will be required to complete all activities.
Students
to Perform
2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR 30 compressions and 2 breaths on an adult manikin
placed on the floor
2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR 30 compressions and 2 breaths on an infant manikin
placed on a firm surface
